Academicus Goes Global

In 2015 the BRAINways Academicus has expanded across international waters and sandy deserts to the global city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Providing a formidable intellectual and cultural exchange, programs in science, mathematics, history and journalism were offered to gifted and talented students from four to fourteen years old who relished this unique opportunity.

Students who excelled in the Academicus programs were also invited to participate in a four week e-learning program, through which they expanded and deepened understandings. As fingers flew across the keyboards in various time zones, the interactions in live chat sessions were intense, even competitive at times, with students being fully engaged in activities and discussions facilitated by BRAINways expert teachers.

It was a memorable opportunity for learning, which left all participants, students and teachers, looking forward to working together in the future, perhaps at the Quest competition, in November!
